Senior lecturers Sherief Elsayed and Tom Cosker have taught thousands of students over the past 7 years and they also attend a large number of final year examinations - they know exactly where students tend to do well and where they don't!

Sherief qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine and was subsequently one of the youngest ever graduates in Medicine in the UK. He passed his membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England at the first sitting and shortly after was appointed as an SpR. He is currently working as an SpR in Nottingham and is undertaking a Masters in Medical Education.

Mr Tom Cosker MB ChB MRCS (Eng)

Tom qualified from the Univeristy of Wales College of Medicine. He attained membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and shortly after that he was appointed as an SpR in Wales. Tom is currently working as an SpR in Oxford, has a special interest in acute medicine and surgery and has completed a Masters in Trauma Surgery.

Other lecturers teaching on the course have all attended an evaluation session at Oxford University and have been assessed by medical students there - that way you can be really sure that they can teach!
